Picnic Table Plans

If you have a large backyard and you want to hang out with your family and friend every weekend, we recommend you to build a brick barbeque and a shaded area (gazebo, pavilion or pergola)/. In addition, if you like to take the dinner surrounded by grass and trees, we recommend you to consider building a wooden picnic table. These tables are easy to build and also can be adjusted as to suit your needs. On one hand, you could make the simple A-frame tables or you could try something new and unique, such as an octagon table.

If you want to keep the costs under control we recommend you to use pressure-treated lumber, although the end result might not be as spectacular as you might imagine. If you want to get a decent appearance, we recommend you to invest in redwood, cedar or pine.

Always take accurate measurements before making the cuts with a good saw. Align the components at both ends and drill pilot holes, if you want to get the job done in a professional manner. Work with attention and with great care and adjust the design to your needs.

Always choose the right plans before building the picnic table, making sure they are detailed and come with step by step instructions. You can see a snapshot of a detailed project. Click here to see the rest of the instructions.

Alternatively, you could also select octagon picnic table plans, if you want to create an unique structure for your backyard. Although this requires a higher investment and more carpentry skills, it will most likely impress the loved ones and liven up the look of your backyard.
